Measuring the Quality of Minimally Invasive Pediatric Urology at Cedars-Sinai

Caring for pediatric urology patients at Cedars-Sinai brings its own special set of challenges. Between 2003 and 2007, the Cedars-Sinai Minimally Invasive Urology Program has been a leader the Los Angeles region in terms of the number of pediatric outpatient cases it has handled.

Outpatient Pediatric Minimally Invasive Urology Procedures at Cedars-Sinai

In 2008, pediatric patients made 1,838 visits to Cedars-Sinai for minimally invasive urology procedures done on an outpatient basis. This compares to 1,690 outpatient visits in 2004.

Pediatric Urology Cases

In 2008, the Cedars-Sinai Minimally Invasive Urology Program's faculty urologist did 327 pediatric urology cases. This compares to 289 done in 2004.
